Job Description
The tasks a Computer System Hardware Analyst is expected to perform include:
Analyzing data processing requirements to plan data processing system
Conferring with data processing and project managers to obtain information on limitations and capabilities of existing system
Estimating capabilities required for data processing projects and projected work load
Evaluating factors such as number of departments serviced by data processing equipment, reporting formats required, volume of transactions, time requirements and cost constraints
Work Environment

Working hours
- Multinational organization usually work for 5 days a week and 8 to 9 hours everyday. This may vary from organization to organization

Educational Qualifications And Training
Preferably, 12th
Key Competencies
- Proficient in analyzing information to determine and plan layout for type of computers
- Adept with entering data into computer terminal to store, retrieve and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities
- Knowledge of specifying power supply requirements and configuration
- Well-versed with recommending purchase of equipment to control dust, temperature and humidity in area of system installation
- Knowledge of training users to use new or modified equipment
- Knowledge of monitoring functioning of equipment to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications
