Admission Procedure:

1. Engineering Courses:
– Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the SSC (Std. X) or equivalent examination, with Science, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects. For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the requirement is 45% marks.

2. Hotel Management & Catering Technology:
– Candidates must have secured a minimum of 35% marks in aggregate in the HSSC (Science/Commerce/Arts/Vocational) or equivalent examination.

3. Garment Technology:
– Candidates must have secured a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate in the SSC (Std. X), with Science, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects. For ST/SC/OBC candidates, the requirement is 35% marks.

4. Pharmacy:
– Candidates must have secured a minimum of 35% marks in aggregate in the HSSC (Science) or equivalent examination, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Since the academic year 1997-98, the Government has introduced a Centralized Admission System for various courses in all Government Polytechnics in Goa. Under the Multi Point Entry Exit Credit System (MPEECS), students with higher qualifications than SSC, such as those from vocational streams, can seek admission directly. Can you pursue a degree program after completing a diploma program?
Yes, you can pursue an Engineering Degree after completing a Diploma Program. Several pathways are available, including the AMIE (Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers) route.
