What is the job all about?
A Chemist conducts chemical analysis of inorganic and organic samples to ascertain their composition, reaction and properties. He uses instruments, apparatus and standard reagents in laboratory such as spectroscope, pressure and temperature recording devices, desiccators, balances, acids, alkalizes, etc.

He identifies standard solution indicators to determine composition, strength or conformity with prescribed standards and ascertains presence or absence of particular element

 

Can I go for it?
If you are strong in PCM and love experimentation and analysis then a job of a chemist is meant for you. You need to be a graduate in Chemistry.

Proficiency in conducting chemical analysis of inorganic and organic samples to ascertain their composition, reaction and properties.

Knowledge of conducting analysis tests and experiments on inorganic substances such as metals, acids, salts and gases

Knowledge of properties of different chemicals

Proficiency in conducting various experiments like distillation, evaporation, filtration, detection of cations and anions, salt analysis, etc.

Knowledge of conducting technical research

Well-versed with using the instruments, apparatus and standard reagents in laboratory such as spectroscope, pressure and temperature recording devices, desiccators, balances, acids, alkalizes, etc.

Proficiency in identifying standard solution indicators to determine composition, strength or conformity with prescribed standards

Well-versed with ascertaining presence or absence of particular element

Monies:
Freshers – ₹ 12,500 to ₹ 15,000 per month
For candidates with 2-3 years of experience or more – ₹ 17,000 to ₹ 20,000 per month
