Data Analytics (DA) is analysis and interpretation of mass data using computer systems, statistics and quantitative techniques with the objective of understanding past performance and generating fresh inputs for the future.
These days massive amount of data in computer terms is known as Terbyte & Petabyte. .The challenge is to ensure that the Volume of Data churned out ona daily basis is verifiable and adds value to the conclusions one needs to arrive at for World Organizations, governmental bodies and big International companies.
When huge Data is collated and analysed – it helps in faster and better decision making. It helps in reducing costs by figuring out more efficient process of doing business.
Can I go for it
If you are happy with managing vast chunks of data and making sense of it and then coming to logical conclusions then this is an area that is gaining tremendous strength in huge Organizations.

Please do not be satisfied with just acquiring a Degree/Diploma – try and enhance your CV by doing online learning programs (with a certificate) of programs relevant to your choice of career. Your chances of employment will be much better than just a plain degree/diploma.
