Dr. S. M. Balaji is a renowned dental and maxillofacial surgeon based in Chennai, recognized as the only Indian among the Top 10 Dental Scientists globally. Where to Begin?
In Goa
After completing your 10+2 with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB), you can pursue a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). Admission requires clearing the NEET examination. The BDS program at Goa Dental College and Hospital is a four-year course, followed by a one-year internship.
After completing the BDS program, you can further specialize by pursuing a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in one of the fields listed below. The MDS is a two-year postgraduate program offering specializations in:
