What is the job all about?
The Systems Analyst identifies the requirements of his clients and then works to transform them into technological solutions. He advises on the best options for IT strategy to be used in the Company. He would actively associate himself by identifying clients problems/needs, their resources and determining solutions. He would actively be involved in participating in the development, installations and testing of application software. He would then be able to delegate responsibility for the Programmers and other supporting staff.
Can I go for it?
If you are good in Physics and Maths and take up Computer studies at the BCA level you should be able to handle this subject well.

Is there a future in this field?
Today all companies are Computer driven. So the need of the hour si people strong in Computers and can deliver.

At the start you would earn around Rs. 15000/- to Rs. 20,000/- p.m. but later this should easily shoot up.
Please do not be satisfied with just acquiring a Degree/Diploma – try and enhance your CV by doing online learning programs (with a certificate) of programs relevant to your choice of career. Your chances of employment will be much better than just a plain degree/diploma.
